Forget Me Not 2024

‘Forget Me Not’ is about Doreen Collinson’s life (Carla’s Nannar) who was living with Dementia in a care home. The book was created to help Doreen recall, reminisce and remember much more easily during family visits at the care home. The book includes family archives of photographs, letters, recipes, patterns and fabrics which date back to the 1940s. These also include handwritten notes by Doreen's younger self, Mother and Father. The archives were scanned and sequenced so that the photobook would be easy to follow along whether it’s Doreen, a family member, her carers, or a member of the public looking through the book. This is a portable museum of 80 years life experiences and people she knew but slowly forgot.
